My Brother Josh Did My Newest Website
Josh does a great job at web design. He put up my new Dallas website www.DallasFamilyPortrait.com. When I first started I used to do my own website. I also had a small business designing websites back in the html only days. I really loved it but things have changed so fast in the web design world and I don't have the time I used to have to stay on top of it. So if you want a really cool website and you don't want to break the bank check Josh out online at www.JoshKnapp.com.

Jackopierce Tonight!!
Jackopierce was one of my favorite bands in college. They remind me of summers of free time flyfishing in Colorado before life was more complicated. Before business deals, before success. Not everything was great back then, but it was more simple. They broke up before I got the chance to see them live. Today Cassy surprised me with tickets to their new CD release party. They are back together I guess. I'm pumped for the concert and I have the best wife in the world!

Our Christmas Round Up Booth
I'm learning more with every tradeshow that we do. Booth arrangement, samples, vocabulary and enthusiasm have more to do with a successful booth than I ever thought. Thank you to everyone who visited! We are so excited to see those of you who will be coming out for our Portraits in the Canyon special next weekend. Christmas card families remember to place your order by December 10th!

Spirit Magazine and Skymall
I love Spirit magazine. Spirit magazine is the magazine put out by Southwest Airlines for their passengers. It is always filled with super interesting articles about business and life. Today I read an article on the plane about self publishing and using a blog to promote your business. Its really cool to read things that are relevant to everyday life.
Skymall is another wonderful magazine. I always want everything in it. Much of my Christmas shopping may be done in Skymall this year.

Does the Credit Crisis Mean Less Junk Mail?
I just finished shredding about 20 or so junk mailers from credit card
companies with "limited offer" or "more airline miles" printed all over
them. I spent Saturday morning just trying to catch up on mail and a
ton of it is junk from credit card companies. So I'm kind of curious. The subprime lending market has crashed. Banks are starting to falter on a national level. There is talk that the next step of the crisis would involve credit card companies failing. If it does get to that point and credit card companies do fail, will they stop sending me so much junk mail? Maybe this credit crisis isn't such a bad thing after all...

Congratulations Megan & Britton
Its been such a crazy couple of weeks! I was in Dallas, then Ruidoso, New Mexico for Megan and Britton's wedding, then back to Amarillo for two or three days, then out to the Zurick Ranch for a baby session and back to Amarillo for Joy and Chris' wedding. It has been crazy, but if you know me well, thats the way I like to keep my schedule! So I'm doing some catching up today.
My brother Nick and I had a wonderful time in Ruidoso. Megan and Britton are a sweet couple and it was so fun hanging out with them in New Mexico. I am still drying out my cameras because of the monsoon rain that we had, but it made the ceremony so beautful. They were married in a room that had huge garage sized doors that they opened for the ceremony. So there was this beautiful mountain aroma and the sound of the rain as they said their vows. Totally unique. I loved it! Here are some of the images from their wedding.
