  • How To Avoid One Huge Mistake Most Couples Make On Their Wedding Day

If you are an average bride and want to have an average wedding. One where you find yourself exhausted at the end of the night and realizing that you didn’t even have time to greet your guests. One that leaves you overwhelmed and just glad that the day is over. Then this wedding day tip is not for you. Stop reading now, and I’m sorry to waste your time.

BUT, if you do not want an “AVERAGE” wedding. If you want an EXTRAORDINARY wedding day. Where you spend the event sharing and connecting with friends and family. Where you spend the day with a smile on your face. Where you and your new spouse leave the wedding in a state of total harmony with each other. One where you don’t look back in regret of what you “wish” you would have done if there were enough time. Then this wedding day tip is for you!

You see, most brides don’t realize that the pre wedding day planning has so much to do with the outcome of the day. I’m not talking about the obvious or typical planning steps. Typical planning is choosing what color your flowers will be or where your ceremony will be held or if the guys will wear tuxedos or suits. Those are all very important things to think about. But there are a few things that you can do that will ensure your wedding experience is far above the “AVERAGE” wedding that most people experience.

Are you still reading? Great! You are well on your way to an “EXTRAORDINARY” wedding experience.

The first pre-wedding planning tip that I’ll mention is something that almost ALL couples overlook.

#1 Big Mistake: “Not Allowing Enough Time For
Little Things On The Wedding Day”

Start your wedding day almost too early. Little things that don’t take you any time on a “normal” day will take you three times as long on your wedding day. Have you ever thought about what creates a stressful situation? Having too much to do in a small amount of time. Now, there are definitely other things that can create stressful situations in life. But this one is a fixed paradigm that we can recognize and overcome. Almost any time that you have a very small amount of time and have a TON of things to do, the result is stress.

Think about this: lets say you spend 10 minutes on a normal day brushing your teeth. On your wedding day this one small everyday thing could take you 30 minutes! There are many interruptions. Your phone will ring, you have to return a text, you have to answer questions from so many more people. Now take each little thing that normally takes you very little time and multiply it by 3.

Time is your most valuable asset on your wedding day. So be 100% sure you start your day too early. It seems almost too simple, but most couples fail to start their wedding day early enough. I’ve seen frantic couples moments before the wedding having to skip a gift exchange with their fiance. Or push a special toast with bridesmaids to after the wedding. Start your day too early. You’ll feel the stress melt away and find yourself in a fantastic state of mind to enjoy every truly important moment of the day!
